Usually by now the air is warming on the Kanto Plain and the cherry blossoms (the natural kind) are thinking about starting to get ready to bloom.
But not this year. . .
The nearby photo below shows the view that greeted me from my office window when I opened the curtains this morning.
Forecast for tomorrow? Bitter cold with temperatures dropping to mid-winter levels.

Here in Orlando it is shopping today, golf at Disney World on saturday, grilled qual in the evening then a dip in the pool on Sunday. If I were a drinking man…..what the heck? I tip my glass to you and will play another round in hopes that things will warm up for you.
See you in Fukuoka and if you get there in time we’ll be picking bamboo shoots in garden. However, Florida is nice.
