According to a report from Eurodata TV Worldwide, the Japanese watch an average of five hours of TV per day, more than any other country in the world.
Since most Japanese programming consists of childish “comedy” shows of adolescent silliness and, once a successful format is discovered, Japanese channels churn out an endless series of clones that can span decades, Japan may soon end up being a nation of Aibos.
