The South Morning China Post is reporting that dozens of stray dogs roaming a new Disney theme park in Hong Kong have been captured and killed in preparation for the park’s grand opening in September.

Walt Disney Co. asked the government to do the dirty work because the dogs were felt to pose a safety risk.

The Post reports that a total of about 40 pooches were given a one-way ticket to Neverneverland.
