Densha is just a hoax story, it’s impossible a Right lady will marry an otaku. It’s just a hoax story. It’s a LEGEND that supposed to fullfil all otakuS out there. It’s definitely “otaku” and not “oitaku.” I suppose I can put “Westerners” in caps! I’m always forgetting if “South” should be capitalized or if “Winter” should be. Usually I guess incorrectly, I guess! And yes, there definitely are cool otaku.

Marie, cool post. Thanks for heads up.
One thing of note: Westerners should be capitalized in print, we don’t write asians or christians or the orient. It’s Asians, Christians, the Orient. White people and black people are lowercased, yes, and geeks never capitalized. Right on that one. But please change “westerners” to Westerners. You ”Westerners” often make this mistake.
