About a week ago, we reported here about how the coach of an Ehime Prefecture junior high school girl’s basketball team forced some of them to run around the gym naked as part of their training.

Now word is coming in from Okayama Prefecture that police there have arrested a former manager of a boy’s baseball club for the same offense.

Police on Friday arrested a former manager of Okayama Sanyo High School’s baseball club for allegedly forcing male students to strip naked and run through the school grounds, police officials said.

Hideki Ikemura, 35, owned up to the allegations, calling the action a “tough love” lesson.
