He has always been a vocal opponent of Yasukuni and has refused to visit there because of the way it glorifies the militaristic past and ignores the attrocities. Ronin, really? Also it seems that he is praising both sides of the conflict in making Japan what it is today. At least thats what I got out of it, maybe it loses something in translation.
