Another Kaeru

Piggy-backing on Amptonan’s smart kaeru bridge post, here is another use for frog in Japan.
As Ampontan explained, the word kaeru can mean frog, and it can also mean “to return.”
This frog invites you to return your recyclables.
I’d totally wanna have my picture taken with that. I don’t normally have pics taken of me hugging recycling bins, but in this case…
Just one more cool, quaint thing out of so many that make Japan such a fun and interesting place.
