Where have the ninja gone?

Well, later this April you can go and see for yourself. There is a ninja matsuri in Iga which you can visit. Incidentally, I’ve been told that towns which end in “ga” are often towns in which the ninja lived. Interesting, eh? I think someone out there in Japundit land lives in just such a town. But I digress.

As you can see, Helly Kitty has added ninja to her wardrobe. Not only is she a sacred deer, she is also a true ninja.

If you are a girl, you can go to the bathroom in this girl-ninja toilet. Sorry. No boys.

Not to be outdone by Miss Kitty, dogs have apparently taken up the ninja tradition as you can see in this photo. Oh. And the kids start training young too. Along with the requisite cartoon characters.
