Making bones about it

Japanese people are normally relatively docile and do not seem to resort to emotional outbursts easily when wronged. But when moved finally to protest about something, the people over here sometimes end up expressing their ire in ways that are just plain weird.
Recently an angry viewer of TV Tokyo (Channel 12) became so upset that the broadcaster pre-empted a popular TV program in order to cover a world ping-pong championship that he/she sent the station a bag of human bones.
Officials said on Wednesday that what appeared to be cremated bones and a protest letter were contained in the bag sent from Yokohama.
TV Tokyo has filed a report with police.
At least they didn’t chop their finger off.
