Check out this Korean anime of what someone over there thinks/wants/hopes will happen if Korea and Japan seriously face off over Takeshima/Dokdo.

Well, what Koreans call “Dokdo” is not Tsushima (Nagasaki pref) but Takeshima (Shimane pref). It may be kinda confusing, since some Koreans recently start saying Tsushima belongs to Korea, as a “counter-measure” to Shimane pref’s Takeshima Day law enacted last year.
Koreans should explain why they think “Dokdo” (or Tsushima or whatever) is theirs at THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE, if they are confident of the legitimacy of their claim; it’s a shame they are actually just wasting their time instead, shouting around in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul, breaking into Shimane prefectural assenmbly with knives in their hands, etc.
Btw have you ever heard that the robot Taekwon V in the movie above, the hero in an old Korean anime, is known as a plagiarism of Japanese Mazinger Z?

July 19th, 2006 at 1:59 pmThis is kid’s play compared to the plot of the recent ROK blockbuster, Hanbando. I plan to write a review, but let’s say arguing about justice is farthest from Korean leftists’ minds right now
July 19th, 2006 at 2:08 pmTakeshima it is, SuikaDorobo. I corrected the story accordingly.
Thanks.

July 20th, 2006 at 12:33 amAhahahahahhahha……..The silliness of it…masks any kind of seriousness in the issue. I wonder who gave them the giant robots in the first place…..
July 20th, 2006 at 8:46 amKorea would claim all of Japan if they could get away with it.
July 20th, 2006 at 1:48 pmJapanese fishermen were not killed and injured by a giant robot but by machine guns when ROK occupied the islets in 1950’s.
July 21st, 2006 at 12:19 amPaul, this ain’t the Mongol Age. Get with the times! I say blast those rocks to smithereens and be done with it.
July 22nd, 2006 at 2:16 amyeah, in addition to that giant, a$$-kicking mecha, korean stole sushi and pokemon, claiming it was their very own kimbap and powermon. Seriouly, look at this, it’s disgusting! how could they do this to Pikachu!. He has a racoon tail and ear-hair.
