Even if you can’t understand Japanese, this 7 minute video will be entertaining. Watch it to the end, I promise you won’t regret it.
The toilet cost $50,000 USD to create (5,000,000 yen).

August 30th, 2006 at 7:13 amIt’s actually 5,000,000 Yen (about 45,000 USD). Still, awesome toilet prank. I may never use the restroom in Japan again!
August 30th, 2006 at 3:17 pmThanks. The zero has been added.
August 30th, 2006 at 3:40 pmThese pranks never fail to amuse. I saw another hilarious one at a Ski lodge, where they were shooting people down the slope when they were in massage chairs.
On a side note, is that Beat Takeshi in this video? The one with the hilter mustache?
August 30th, 2006 at 4:51 pmThis is insane! Imagine doing this in the USA with the legal issues. Funny though, I had a good laugh!
Yes, I think it is Beat Takeshi in the moustache.
August 30th, 2006 at 6:12 pmThat is sooooo cruel!

August 31st, 2006 at 2:52 amWe rarely take these pranks to court.
Takeshi Kitano, the host of this TV program, is very very famous for making another prank TV program, “the Takeshi Castle” in which many comedians play slapstick comedies with every ounce of energy they have. Some big-name comedians like him can make such expensive prank tools in TV, because they can pay for it getting high audience ratings.
