Econoperv strikes again!

Nationally famous economist Kazuhide Uekusa, who was busted in 2004 for trying to use a mirror to look up the skirt of a high school girl on an escalator, has been arrested again, this time for molesting a 17-year-old girl on a train.
Uekusa was drunk at the time of the incident, and claims, “I don’t remember what happened.”
Following his arrest in 2004 (for which he paid a 500,000 fine and forfeited his mirror), Uekusa was hired by Nagoya University, a spokesperson for which said, “It’s a waste of talent if Mr. Uekusa’s skills go unused.”
Once again, JP’s truth of life #432 is proven correct: Any crime that involves the tumescent male member will always be repeated.
Couldn’t agree with you more, JP. Guys like this will continue, and the one thing alot of people are in denial about is that things like this will escalate. I think this is the biggest problem with those who ‘feel’ that criminals can be cured, and really don’t look at the statistics. Perhaps they believe all criminals are the ‘one’ that will turn out to break the tradition of continuing their crimes.
The beauty of living in Japan, though, is that you can get these perv needs satiated for a fee. I don’t understand why dudes like this don’t take advantage of the wonderful world of Kabuki-cho(or the like). I guess paying for it just ain’t the same…
September 14th, 2006 at 7:08 pmI loved that line, “and forfitted his mirror.”
September 14th, 2006 at 7:48 pmI had heard before that many people suspected he was innocent and was framed. All those escalators in big stations have cameras on them for just such a thing. Mysteriously, that days video tape was missing.
However it’s gunna be hard to deny something like that when it happens a first time. But one could say he is just getting watched more then others now because of that and will get accused for something that really wouldn’t qualify as sekuhara — or perhaps yet they could say he’s been a pervert all along and now people are just on the lookout.
Either-way, don’t go touching people!
September 14th, 2006 at 10:36 pmhahaha what a wacky guy!
September 15th, 2006 at 2:29 pmWell, heck, the school teachers do it, the cops do it, the average pimply nerd on your block does it, why not a government official or a university prof? While we’re at it, let’s get both houses of the Diet in on it!
Beats me what they see in it though, ah…that is, what they get out of it, or, er, well, you know…
September 15th, 2006 at 4:02 pm[...] Maybe someone should tell economist Kazuhide Uekusa about this joint. [...]
