Fertility Notification; Comes Standard with NTT DoCoMo
The presure to one-up the competition is picking up. NTT DoCoMo, hot on the heals of its CEO accusing a major rival of unfair advertising, is trying to make waves of its own this time with its products. A new mobile phone will feature a special built in calander and ring that notify women when they reach the most fertile part of their monthly reproductive cycle.
The phone allows the would-be mothers to enter information on menstruation dates and the phone will automatically alert the user three days before ovulation and again on the day based on a pre-determined mathamatical schedule. The phones calulations are based on average cycles of a womans system and NTT DoCoMo is hoping that they’ll be a hit with the ladies.
The phone was invented by female designer Momoko Ikuta. The phone hits the market at the end of the year and will feature a “relaxing” pastel look.
