I think if this policy of the government there is even handed, they can help the good residents, and curb the transiant naughty Johnny Foreigner types at the same time. But I've got a friend (and no, it's not me) who spent a year in jail on a felony DUI (and in America, your third DUI arrest is usually charged as a felony, even if you didn't actually cause an accident). What about him? He's screwed. Ask me, telling people they're not moral enough to come to the country you took at gunpoint from the natives is a TAD hypocritical. And we're off topic. Damn.
