How to escape from an octopus attack

Well thanks to this video, I know how how to escape from an octopus attack. Just bite it’s nerve in a specific place on the body and your all set…
I have a sneaking suspicion that the fella in this video may have enjoyed this though which is a frightening thought.

Alex – Should you find yourself in an octopus-threatening situation you might find the following information useful.
“Anatomically, octopuses are quite interesting. Instead of a penis, male octopuses have a specialized tentacle (usually the third tentacle on their right side) that they use for sex“.
You might try sinking your fangs into that – but then maybe it might not be a male – but a female.
In which case,I’m not sure what might happen.

March 12th, 2007 at 10:48 amI’d like to be under the sea
In an octopus’ garden in the shade
He’d let us in, knows where we’ve been
In his octopus’ garden in the shade
Hear it here.

March 12th, 2007 at 11:03 amnow I think about it a little more – and it did happen to be a female – maybe biting that tentacle might not be the best thing to do….having congress with an octopus is not exactly up my alley so to speak.. (squids? now your talking!!)
after all, I am a remora and have only just recently reached puberty.
maybe some of the other older remora lads might know – I’ll check with them.
Stay tuned.
