Kaneko Sangyo Co. reportedly has developed a portable toilet designed for use in automobiles.
The new “Kurumarukun” toilet presented the same day at a trade fair in Nagoya is the first ever model of its kind small enough to fit inside a car, the Aichi Prefecture-based manufacturer of plastic car accessories said.
“The commode will come in handy during major disasters such as earthquakes or when you are on outings or caught in a traffic jam,” said a company official.
The toilet consists of a user-assembled cardboard bowl that contains a water-absorbent sheet. Waste is sealed in a plastic bag for later disposal.
Price: 4,725 yen (On sale in November)

Reminds me of something I saw recently : there was a guy grabing shit made by his dog on the lawn in a park. So, he used a plastic bag when it would have been much more ecologic to just leave the shit decompose on the lawn.
Sometimes, cleaner doesn’t mean more ecologic, and people forget those things.
