In another sign that there is entirely too much money floating around Japan, a man showed up at a lottery stand in Ibaraki Prefecture recently with a winning ticket worth 10 million yen, which is just under $100,000.

The woman working at the stand at the time informed the man of his good luck, upon which he disappeared without collecting his winnings.

The woman reported the incident to the police, who are treating the ticket as a lost item. Under Japanese law, the operator of the stand will be entitled to the ticket and its prize if no one claims it within six months.
