I went to Sui Tieng "Angel's Mountain" in Vietnam last summer. The creepiest experience in my life. It was an actual functioning buddhist temple + A crocodile park + cheap carnival attractions (House of mirrors, lame roller coaster, Haunted house.) + An animatronic show - telling you what you're gonna suffer when you go to hell for your bad deeds. (Think Its a small world ride at disneyland except you have to walk instead of float on a boat.)

Sounds lame? It really was. There were absolutely no people at the park. The taxi guys were fighting each other for our patronage. Only to overcharge us on mileage.

I mean come on! Isn't Vietnam a communist country, what happened to the we reject religion in the name of our own strength as a people?

They discovered capitalism, and they objectified it into this theme park.

ie: Paid entrance fee 20,000 VND, Rides and attractions cost extra money for tickets to go see them. So if you only paid the entrance fee you are paying to walk around a cement jungle and see 10 story tall painted buddahs (in gold paint), and Signs saying "Littering will be fined 25,000 VND."
