Gotta admit, it sure is catchy… Magibon however, is definitely one internet phenom I will never understand (at least the Star Wars Kid had some comedic value).

Oh, and it was awesome to see Ken Tanaka in the song.

(Up to you to decide whether its the real deal, but it sure would be awesome if Japundit could interview the guy ;))

Ken Tanaka was proven to be part of an elaborate series of characters over an year ago The actors real name is David Ury. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1352845/

You can see some more clips of him performing different roles at http://www.youtube.com/user/davidury

His other big character on YouTube which preceded Ken Tanaka is Karaoke Steve, http://www.youtube.com/user/YouloveKaraokeStev

He is pretty good because in each case, he still has people who believe those characters are real.

Yea I knew that but I kind of wanted to see what other posters thought =P. Anyways, I actually like Ken’s (David’s) humor and he has some good videos about food, music, etc. in Japan as well as interesting tidbits from the States. He provides a quick moment of entertainment + laughs for me and that’s good enough.
