I caught this amazingly talented guy on an NHK special yesterday and was totally blown away. Get ready to hear the ukelele as you probably have never heard it before.

August 30th, 2008 at 2:17 pmJake rocks. He’s been a hero of Hawaii for a long time and it’s always good to see him get exposure. I could do without his wanky Eddie Van Hendrix stuff and much prefer it when he’s playing roots music but that’s just my taste.
