A Taiwanese toy company name Wind Hobby reportedly has come out with a radio-controlled toy Apache helicopter that can shoot BBs while in flight. Flight time is eight minutes between charges.
One? Heck. . . I’d like to get a squadron of these. . . I wonder if they play Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries during attacks . . .

October 2nd, 2008 at 8:38 pmI used to work in a hobby store that sold R/C models, including helicopters, and as I remember it, they were so squrrily that learning how to fly one (never mind shooting at a target with it) was practically a lifetime commitment. Either that kid in the filmclip is really, really good or they’ve figured out how to make them easier to fly. But there’s probably a skilled adult hidden behind that screen.
All in all, this is just crazy, but it could be fun. I wonder if I could shoot down other model planes with it?
