• JAPUNDIT reserves the right to modify or delete comments without notice and totally at the discretion of the editor and/or publisher.
• Any one of the following may result in a comment being edit or deleted.
• Drive-by sniping, which is dropping into the comments sporadically solely for the purpose of dropping comments that are judged to be intended to cast a pall on a discussion or the site, poison the mood of a discussion or the site, unnecessarily sidetrack a discussion, etc.
• Gratuitous vulgarity
• Gratuitous insult

• Complaints or comments about JAPUNDIT content (Address content matters to: contact(at)japundit(dot)com)
• Off-topic comments
• Comments intended solely to advertise or promote another site, product, service, etc.
• Comment flooding with unrelated subject matter in a way that puts a damper on an ongoing discussion.
• Any comment that is judged to be intended to demean JAPUNDIT, its content, its contributors, its policies and practices, etc.
• Any comment deemed unacceptable by the JAPUNDIT editor or publisher
• JAPUNDIT is a blog about Japan. We and our readers do not care about your opinions or stances concerning the policies, culture, customs, practices, or actions of the United States or any other country outside of East Asia, except as it applies to Japan. Comments concerning these issues are subject to editing or deletion at the discretion of the Editor.
