Brian is a self-proclaimed itinerant idealist currently teaching science in Yokohama. His wanderlust has taken him to six continents, including residing on four. He has called Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Los Angeles, Papua New Guinea, Northern Ireland, and now Yokohama home.

Just about everything interests him, most notably politics, sports, religion, languages, science, movies, art, and of course travel and other cultures. He doesn’t know what he’d do with himself without the New York Times and National Public Radio.
