Overoften is a teacher by profession and runs a school and a clothing business with his wife in Kumamoto, in the heart of Japan’s cultural powerhouse, Kyushu.

Having arrived in Japan nearly 3 years ago, he should speak Japanese a lot better than he does. Originally hailing from south-east England, he’ll answer any questions you might have about dull weather, real beer, the arcane laws of cricket, and tea.
